Traditional Bihar Poha Gud Ladoo | Easy Homemade Sweet
Bihar Special Poha Gud Ladoo is a traditional, healthy and delicious sweet made with flattened rice (poha), pure jaggery (gud), ghee and dry fruits. This easy ladoo recipe is perfect for Makar Sankranti, winter season, kids’ snacks and festive celebrations. These no-maida, no-refined sugar ladoos are full of energy, iron and fiber, making them a great choice for a healthy dessert.
Ingredients
2 cups thin poha (flattened rice)
1 cup jaggery (gud)
2 tbsp ghee
๐ฉ๐ณ Method
Dry roast poha in a pan on low flame until it becomes crisp. Let it cool
Heat ghee in a pan, add grated jaggery and melt it on low flame. Do not overcook.
Add poha
Mix well until everything
Switch off flame, let it cool slightly.
Grease hands with ghee and shape into ladoos.
