Easy soya chilli recipe
INGREDIENTS
FOR SOYA PREPARATION:
4 cup water
½ tsp salt
1 cup soya chunks
1 tbsp curd
½ tsp ginger garlic past
¼ tsp pepper, crushed
½ tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
¼ cup corn flour
oil for frying
OTHER INGREDIENTS:
4 tsp oil
3 clove garlic, chopped
1 green chilli, slit
4 tbsp spring onion, chopped
2 tbsp onion, chopped
10 cubes capsicum
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp chilli sauce
¼ tsp pepper, crushed
¼ tsp salt
FOR CORN FLOUR SLURRY:
1 tsp corn flour
¼ cup water
INSTRUCTIONS
firstly, in a large saucepan get 4 cup water with ½ tsp of salt to a boil.
now add 1 cup soya chunks.
boil for 10 minutes or until soya turns soft.
drain off the water and rinse with cold water. cool completely.
now in a large bowl take 1 tbsp curd, ½ tsp ginger garlic paste, ¼ tsp pepper,
½ tsp chilli powder.
mix well and prepare a smooth marination paste.
squeeze out water from cooked soya and add to the marination paste.
mix well coating the marination well.
further, add ¼ cup corn flour and give a good mix.
coat the corn flour uniformly, add more cornflour if required.
now deep fry the soya chunks in hot oil or bake in preheated oven at
180-degree celcius for 25 minutes.
stir occasionally and fry on medium flame to golden and crisp.
drain off the fried soya chunks onto a kitchen towel to absorb excess oil.
keep aside.
soya chilli recipe:
firstly, in a large kadai heat 4 tsp oil and saute 3 clove garlic and 1 green
chilli on high flame.
also, saute 2 tbsp onion and 2 tbsp spring onion on high flame.
further, add 10 cubes capsicum and continue to saute till they slightly change
colour.
additionally, add 2 tbsp tomato sauce, 1 tsp chilli sauce, 1 tbsp vinegar, 1
tbsp soy sauce, ¼ tsp pepper and ¼ tsp salt.
mix well and saute for a minute.
add cornflour slurry. to prepare corn flour water mix 1 tsp of corn flour with
¼ cup of water.
give a good mix until the gravy slightly thickens and turns glossy.
additionally, add fried soya chunks.
mix gently making sure the sauce has coated well uniformly.
finally, transfer soya chilli to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped
spring onions green. serve with fried rice.
