🥣 Ingredients:
Sweet potato (sakarkand) – 2 medium
Milk – 1 liter
Sugar or jaggery – ½ cup (adjust to taste)
Ghee – 1 tbsp
Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
Dry fruits (cashew, almond, pistachio, raisins) – 2–3 tbsp (chopped)
Saffron strands – few (optional)

1. Wash ,peel again wash and grate Sweet Potato properly.
2. Heat Ghee – In a pan, add ghee and lightly roast chopped dry fruits until golden.
3. Cook Sweet Potato – In the same pan, add mashed sweet potato and sauté for 2–3 minutes to remove raw taste.
4. Add Milk – Pour in milk and let it simmer on medium flame for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Sweeten It – Add sugar/jaggery (if adding jaggery, let milk cool slightly first to avoid curdling). Stir well.
6. Flavor – Add cardamom powder, saffron (if using), and roasted dry fruits.
7. Cook Further – Let it simmer until the kheer thickens to your liking.
