Quick Rice Powder Kheer kaise bnae ? | Instant Kheer | Festival Special

Ingredients:
½ cup rice (powdered – slightly coarse, not too fine)
1 litre full cream milk
3–4 cardamom pods (crushed)
8–10 cashews
8–10 almonds (sliced)
7–8 pistachios (optional)
7–8 raisins
1 tbsp ghee
Few saffron strands (optional, soaked in warm milk)

Method:
1. Prepare rice powder: Wash and dry the rice, then grind into a coarse powder (like sooji).
2. Boil milk: In a heavy-bottom pan, boil milk and let it reduce slightly on low flame.
3. Roast rice powder: In a small pan, heat ghee and roast the rice powder for 2–3 minutes on low flame until aromatic.
4. Cook kheer: Slowly add the roasted rice powder into boiling milk while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
5. Simmer: Cook on low flame for 15–20 minutes until the rice powder softens and the kheer thickens.
7. Flavor: Add crushed cardamom, saffron milk, and dry fruits. Cook for another 3–4 minutes.
7. Serve: Garnish with extra dry fruits and serve hot or chilled.
