Soyabean Biryani in Cooker | Easy Nutri Biryani with Basic Masala

๐ฟ Ingredients (2–3 servings)
Soyabean chunks (Nutri) – 1 cup
rice – 1 cup
Onion – 2 medium (sliced)
Tomato – 2 medium (chopped)
Green chilli – 1–2 (slit)
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
Curd – 2 tbsp (optional but adds taste)
Oil/ghee – 2 tbsp
Water – 2 cups
Salt – to taste
Basic Masala Powders
chat masala– ¼ tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
curry leaf – 8-9
biryani powder - 1 tsp
Whole spices (optional) – 2 cloves, 1 small cinnamon, 2 cardamom

๐ฅ Method
1. Prepare Soyabean:
Boil water with a pinch of salt.
Add soyabean chunks, cook 5 mins, then drain & squeeze water. Keep aside.
2. Cook Masala:
Heat oil/ghee in a pressure cooker.
Add cumin seeds, bay leaf & whole spices (if using).
Add sliced onions, fry till golden.
Add ginger-garlic paste & green chilli, sautรฉ.
Add tomatoes, cook till soft.
Add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala. Mix well.
3. Add Soyabean & Curd:
Add boiled soyabean chunks. Sautรฉ 2 mins.
Add curd (if using) & mix.
4. Cook Rice:
Add soaked rice, gently mix.
Add 2 cups water & salt to taste.
Mix everything and close the cooker lid.
5. Pressure Cook:
Cook on medium flame for 1 whistle, then turn off gas.
Let pressure release naturally.
6. Fluff & Serve:
Open lid, gently fluff rice.
Serve hot with raita, salad, or pickle.
