Recipe
Ingredients:
Full cream milk – 1 litre
Fresh malai (cream) – ½ cup
Sugar – 4 tbsp (adjust to taste)
Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
Saffron strands – 8–10 (optional)
Chopped dry fruits (almonds, pistachios, cashews) – 2 tbsp
Rose water – 2–3 drops (optional)

Method:
1. Boil Milk – In a heavy-bottom pan, bring the milk to a boil and simmer on low flame until it reduces to about ¾th. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
2. Add Cream – Add fresh malai (collected from milk) into the simmering milk and mix well.
3. Sweeten It – Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron strands. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
4. Enrich with Dry Fruits – Add chopped dry fruits and mix.
5. Final Touch – Switch off the flame and add rose water for a fragrant touch.
6. Serve – Chill in the refrigerator for a few hours and serve cold in earthen bowls for that divine feel.
