Here’s a simple and soft Maida Cake (All-Purpose Flour Cake) recipe—eggless, moist, and perfect for beginners!
Easy Maida Cake Recipe (Eggless)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup maida (all-purpose flour)
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ¼ cup oil (or melted butter)
- ¼ cup milk (adjust for consistency)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp vanilla essence
- Half cup custard powder
- Optional: Chopped dry fruits or tutti frutti
Instructions:

Preheat Oven:
- Preheat to 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes.
- Grease a cake tin and line it with parchment paper.

Mix Wet Ingredients:
- In a bowl, whisk milk and sugar till smooth.
- Add oil and vanilla essence. Mix well.

Add Dry Ingredients:
- Sieve maida, baking powder, baking soda, in wet ingredients.
- Mix gently and add custard powder slowly to get a smooth batter (not too runny).

Add Extras:
- Fold in chopped nuts or tutti frutti if using. I am using sprinkle on top.

Bake:
- Pour into the greased tin.
- Bake at 180°C for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
