Here's a super easy and healthy no-fire recipe using dates and roasted chana (chana sattu or roasted gram) – perfect for quick snacks, kids, or fasting days.
Recipe: Dates & Roasted Chana Sweet(No Fire | 3-Ingredient Sweet)
Ingredients:
1 cup seedless soft dates (around 12–15)
½ cup roasted chana dal (or sattu flour)
2 tbsp chopped nuts (optional – almonds, cashews)
¼ tsp cardamom powder (optional)
Instructions (No Fire Needed):
Grind Roasted Chana: If using whole roasted chana (bhuna chana), grind it into a fine powder. You can also use ready-made sattu.
Mash Dates: Mash soft dates with your hands or blend them into a paste (you can soak in warm milk for 5 mins if hard, then mash).
Mix Together: In a bowl, mix mashed dates with the chana powder. Add cardamom powder and nuts if using.
Shape it according
to your desire.
